In 2016 Malia met Travis at Hopleaf Bar in Chicago and together they dreamt up the reality that is Rising Hospitality Group (RHG) as you experience it today. After assisting in the development of the first concept, Over The Top Burger Bar, she moved on to oversee all day to day operations at the Rising Hospitality headquarters.
David brings more than 40 years of hospitality leadership to his role with Rising Hospitality Group. David has worked in multiple facets of the food & beverage industry and has held top positions with some of the most celebrated hospitality concepts in New York, Hawaii & Georgia just to name a few. Prior to joining RHG as COO, David serve

Prior to joining RHG as COO, David served as Vice President of Operations for Empire Unistar, Executive Chef at Parkers on Ponce, Feast 26, & Consultant for Over The Top Burger Bar. He is an invaluable asset to the team.
David works on a daily basis with restaurant operators on a multitude of projects from menu costing and budgeting, to break-even analysis and new store projections
